Contix regularly conducts the following course:

CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry (otherwise known as the WHITE CARD COURSE).

This course offers the general OHS induction information you require to work on a construction site in Australia.

BY LAW, YOU MUST HAVE A VALID WHITE CARD TO WORK ON A CONSTRUCTION SITE.

This course covers:
• The Occupational Health & Safety Legislative framework
• Hazards and Risks
• Construction Industry knowledge
• Accidents and incidents
• Site safety
• Conduct workplace communication

This course is delivered as a single day classroom based training session. On successful completion, participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency: CPCCOHS1001A Work Safely in the Construction Industry and be immediatly eligible to commence work on site.

Participants will also be eligible for a Nationally recognised OHS Construction Induction Card (otherwise known as the White Card) issued by WorkSafe Victoria.
